NYC Italian Cuisine 🍝
Walking into the restaurant felt like stepping into an old-money club, with mostly older white patrons socializing together. The vintage decor and the all-Italian-imported staff hint that this place is the real deal. 🌟 Gnocchi con Pesto: The soft, pillowy gnocchi pairs perfectly with the pesto. It’s one of those dishes you can’t stop eating—one bite and you’re hooked! 🥄 🎢🍃Pappardelle Casalinga: This is an absolute must-order at this place. The smooth, wide noodles are infused with the aroma of tomatoes and cheese. It’s heavenly! 🍝 Scampi alla Griglia: Another must-try! You can tell the shrimp are super fresh—crispy and slightly sweet. The spinach is a delightful surprise, cooked with a wok-like flavor, reminiscent of Chinese garlic stir-fried spinach. It’s the best spinach I’ve had in a Western restaurant! 🦐 The complimentary appetizers are also great—the cheese is freshly scooped, and the salami is delicious. 🧀 🎢🍃 Cozze alla Posillipo: Not highly recommended. The mussels are small and sometimes sandy. 🦪 The tiramisu and espresso with little biscuits are both incredibly tasty. The tiramisu is not too sweet, and the biscuits dipped in espresso are divine. These desserts could easily compete with those from a specialty dessert shop! 🍰 Also, their house-made soda is really refreshing, and the service is impeccable. 🍸 🎢🍃 Restaurant Name: Campagnola Address: 1382 1st Ave, New York, NY 10021 #NYCLife #NYCFoodie 🌆🌟
