NYC Michelin βοΈβοΈ French Cuisine | Gabriel Kreuther π
Ambiance: 9/10 πΊ The restaurant is divided into lounge and dining table areas. We opted for the lounge (a corner sofa round table), which was very quiet. The spacing between tables was just right, and the lighting was perfect for a romantic evening. π Price: π°π° 3-course menu: $190 4-course menu: $220 Chef's tasting menu: $295 For a Michelin two-star restaurant in New York, this price is really good value! π° π Taste: 7/10 Classic French flavors, with seafood leaning towards a tangy taste. The seabass had a strong fishy odor (seems like a common issue with Western seabass dishes). The duck breast was good, and the sauce wasn't overly sweet. ππ» Service: 10/10 πΈ We mentioned during the reservation that we were celebrating a graduation. The restaurant was incredibly thoughtful, preparing a small card for us. The sommelier was very patient, discussing our preferences and making great wine recommendations. When our main course, seabass, was barely touched, the waiter kindly asked if it didn't suit our taste. We explained the strong fishy odor, and they promptly replaced it with fluke. ποΈAt the end of the meal, they comped the main course (one person switched from the 4-course to the 3-course menu) and even waived half a bottle of wine. ππ»ππ» The service was truly impeccable! Overall, the experience was fantastic, and this is definitely a restaurant we'll be returning to. π #NewYorkFood #MichelinNYC ππ
