NYC Michelin 2-Star Gorgeous Meal

Falling in Love with Nordic Cuisine at Aquavit ❤️ On my 2️⃣nd day back in NYC, I rushed to celebrate zhuzhu’s belated birthday with a fabulous meal! 🎉 Despite being half-asleep from jet lag, I powered through and made it to Aquavit—and it was so worth it! 😍 This Michelin 2-star spot gets mixed reviews, but we absolutely loved it! The flavors, presentation, service, and ambiance all scream "Michelin-worthy." 🤩 Moral of the story? Always try things for yourself! 🤣 We went for the 5-course tasting menu paired with some lovely sweet wines 🍷, and for around $500+ for two, it’s a steal in the Michelin world! 🤑 The showstopper? The Second Course: Caviar and Potato! 🥔✨ Thin, crispy potato layers with caviar and lobster sauce—pure perfection! 💯 The plating was chef’s kiss 👌. The Iberico pork with chestnut purée and Chilean sea bass were also stellar! 🐟🍖 Dessert? Beyond expectations! 🍰 Who knew Nordic desserts could align so well with Asian tastes (and the sacred "not too sweet" standard)? 😮 Even the complimentary birthday cake was thoughtfully crafted and delicious—no lazy shortcuts here! 🎂❤️ 📍 Aquavit 📍 65 E 55th St, New York, NY 10022 #GlobalVillageFoodCritics #AmericasFoodFiesta #Michelin2Star #NYCMichelin2Star #NYCMichelin #NYCFoodGuide #ManhattanEats #NYCFineDining #NYCDateSpot #NYCMichelinDining #NYCBirthdaySpot #NYCFoodExplorer #NYCEatDrinkPlay #NYCHiddenGems #NordicCuisineNYC
