NYC Noho | Sobaya for Uni Buckwheat Noodles ๐Ÿœ๐ŸŒŸ

Finally got to try this long - saved soba noodle shop! โœŒ๏ธ The shop is located between the East Village and Noho, closer to Noho, making it a perfect spot to grab a bite after shopping. ๐Ÿ›๏ธ The interior is super Japanese - style, and the staff are all Japanese, adding to the authentic vibe. ๐ŸŒฟ Uni Buckwheat Noodles (seems to be seasonal) ๐Ÿ’ฐ$35 The toppings include yam puree, uni, and caviar. Mixing them together creates a really unique texture. โ—๏ธ The noodles are served cold! It was a bit of a surprise since the last time I had soba in Japan, it was warm noodles with cold soup. ๐Ÿœ Both the fried tofu and duck are ๐Ÿ’ฐ$17. These dishes are in the safe zoneโ€”not particularly amazing but not bad either. ๐Ÿง‹Also, I recommend a nearby bubble tea shop, Wanpo Tea Shop, just a short walk away. Itโ€™s right next to Washington Square Park and NYU. Their tapioca milk tea, half - sweet and no ice, is my favorite! ๐Ÿต #JapaneseIzakaya #JapaneseStyle ๐ŸŒ†๐ŸŒŸ
