NYC Omakase Surprise 🍣 | Ate Until Full with Wagyu, Uni & Toro!

Last week while house hunting in Long Island, I craved omakase but didn’t want to go to Manhattan. Found a highly-rated spot in Queens β€” and wow, we were blown away! LIC friends, it’s worth the extra subway stops. 🍣 We booked the omakase in advance. The main dining area and bar are lovely, but the omakase room is even better β€” spacious, bright, and perfect for special occasions. From the start, the ingredients were top-notch. Five appetizers, no filler miso soup. Highlights: bluefin tuna with truffle soy, yellowtail sashimi, fresh Japanese oysters, and uni-toro caviar toast β€” a dish often saved for the finale! 🍣 The sushi course covered all the classics: sea bream, mackerel, hamachi, scallop, and sweet shrimp with uni. The rice was perfectly seasoned and warm. The uni portion was generous β€” cool, creamy, melting into the rice. Pure bliss. πŸ”₯ Then came creative touches: black cod with truffle, torched king salmon, toro with caviar, and a foie gras eel hand roll. Each bite felt like a celebration. Just when we thought it was over, they served wagyu with uni and caviar β€” three full slices! So rich, I had to share with my friend. 🍨 Dessert was a refreshing yuzu sorbet sandwich. We left beyond satisfied β€” already planning our next visit! We had the $138 omakase (two extra courses and the wagyu dish vs. the $98 option). Worth every penny! πŸ“ Masaaki | Japanese | Omakase 214-16 41st Ave, Bayside, NY 11361 #NYCOmakase #UniLover #WagyuSushi #QueensEats #NYCSushi #AffordableLuxury #FoodHeaven #NYCFoodie #DateNight #EatTillYouDrop #HiddenGem #NYCEats
