NYC Rainy Night | Two Hours for Martiny’s (1)🌧️
Martiny’s isn’t the kind of place that greets you with a smile as soon as you walk in; it’s more like a stern host who demands your patience. You have to wait, and then, in a moment of serendipity, you’re tucked into a cozy corner sofa, as if to let you know: tonight, we’re taking it slow. 🍃 Reservations on Resy require at least a week in advance, and walk-ins are told to wait for two hours. I thought about heading next door for a quick drink to pass the time, but on a rainy night at a crossroads, I got a text: the lounge had a spot open, but only for two rounds. 🌸 The Tea Ceremony wasn’t the matcha latte I was expecting; instead, it was an old-fashioned with a strong presence of both alcohol and bitterness. 🎢 The matcha was slightly warm as it hit my tongue, with the tea aroma spreading outward, and the edible flower petals added a touch of elegance. 🏙️Compared to the sweet Passion Punch, it proved that there’s always a thin line between something being good and being memorable. The Spring Blvd was so delicious that I’m still savoring it days later. The rye flavor and the bitter citrus notes were perfectly balanced, as if the bartender had a hidden scale in the fridge for mixing drinks. It’s already secured a spot in my top 3 for the year. 🌊 #NewYork #NYCDrinks #RainyNight
