NYC Soho đŸ„ Dominique Ansel’s Intense Pistachio Croissant 🍞

When it comes to hyped NYC bakeries, Dominique Ansel Bakery is definitely on the list. It might not be as viral among Chinese foodies, but in expat and local circles—it's iconic. Weekend lines are looong, and if you go late, popular items sell out fast! 🍮 Dominique Ansel Bakery 📍 189 Spring St, New York, NY 10012 Their most famous items are the Kouign-Amann and Cronut (croissant-doughnut hybrid), but I came for the pistachio! I tried the Triple Pistachio Roll — only saw one review online saying it wasn’t pistachio-y
so I was nervous. But taste is so personal—and I actually really liked it! 😋 “Triple pistachio” means: ✹ Pistachio crumbs on top ✹ Pistachio cream cheese filling ✹ Pure pistachio paste inside The pistachio flavor was strong—rich, nutty, and not overly sweet by Western pastry standards. The pure pistachio paste was the star—deep, aromatic, and delicious in every bite. My only note: the tangy pistachio cream cheese layer felt a bit mismatched with the rich nut paste. The outer dough was soft and buttery—more like a tender croissant than a classic brioche. All in all, I enjoyed it! The pastry itself wasn’t mind-blowing, but the pistachio intensity totally won me over. đŸ„œđŸ’š #NYCExploration #NYCFood #NYC #FoodieDiaries #NYCLife #Pistachio #PistachioLover #Croissant #BreadLover #NYCDesserts #DominiqueAnsel #BakeryVisit #SohoEats #NYCSweets #PastryLove
