NYC Soho 🍞 Orange Almond Croissant đŸ„

This croissant spot feels pretty under-the-radar—not many posts about it online, but those who’ve tried it often call it “refreshing” and “well-balanced.” I was drawn in by the pretty looks and unique flavor
but after tasting it, I was reminded that taste really is subjective! 😅 🍮 Raf‘s 📍 290 Elizabeth St, New York, NY 10012 It’s actually a full-service restaurant with a chic, cozy vibe. Their bakery selection is displayed right near the entrance. đŸ„ Orange Almond Croissant This is essentially an orange-infused almond croissant. The center is filled with a thick, sticky orange-almond paste—very sweet and moist, which unfortunately makes the croissant lose its crispness. The almond flavor felt muted, overshadowed by the strong citrus notes. Overall, it leaned sweet and fruity, with a slightly greasy texture that didn’t quite win me over. I tried reheating it in the air fryer the next day, and yes
it got very oily. I didn’t really get the “light and refreshing” vibe others described—personally, I think I’d prefer it without the filling. That said, the orange twist does make it stand out from typical almond croissants. If you love fruity pastries, it might be worth a try! #NYCExploration #NYCFood #NYC #NYCStudent #NYCLife #NYCBakery #Croissant #AlmondCroissant #NYCWeekend #NYCRestaurants #RafsNYC #PastryReview #SweetToothNYC #BakeryVisit
