NYC Speakeasy: Raines Law Room 🌟

Is it Raines Law Room that’s not working, or is it me? 🤔 Calling Raines Law Room a Tier One speakeasy/lounge in NYC should be a no-brainer, and it’s definitely a place I loved since I first arrived in New York. fter the pandemic, my first visit back was a bit of a letdown. The ambiance is still there—dim lighting and a cozy scent—but the vibe felt off. The space has expanded, but the magic seemed to fade a bit. 🌿 🌟 I ordered four drinks, and each one was a miss. By the end, I didn’t even feel like taking photos. Two of the drinks were based on whiskey and rum, which I usually don’t order, so maybe my taste buds were to blame. But the other two were my usual go-tos, and they just didn’t taste the same. 🍸 As for the food, let’s just say it was a disaster. My leftovers from the night before tasted better than their cold cuts. The cheese was a total mismatch.
