NYC Weekend Escape: Winter Soaks at Piaule Catskill š
Just spent a cozy weekend at Piaule Catskillā$1500 for 2 nights, 2 hours from NYC. š Stay Booked an up-cabin. Frosted windows still allowed great views (brrr, opening them was cold!). Pro tip: remove shoes at entryāsand gets everywhere! Housekeeping skipped Day 1 until we asked. š½ļø Food Skipped the hotel dinnerāate out instead: š The Red Onion Restaurant (30-min drive) Cozy family vibe, great service. Loved the Caesar salad, shrimp, pasta, steak, and must-try thick-cut fries! š SILVIA (40-min drive) Creamy mushroom pasta, steak, and fig salmon salad were delicious. āļø Breakfast Free oats, fruit, yogurt (the oats are amazingātook some home!). Paid for hot egg sandwichesāworth it! š Relaxing Spent most time at the heated pool & saunaāoften had it to ourselves! Great for photos day or night. Changing rooms were clean and well-stocked. āļø Weather Snowy and freezingāperfect for cozy cabin life, but outdoor pics required bravery!
