NYU Lunch / Downtown New York Eats ๐Ÿ”

Near the law school, just a 5-minute walk! ๐Ÿซ Me Chicken Rice ๐Ÿ” On the left is the Triple Roast Chicken Rice, and on the right is the regular Hainanese Chicken Rice. The rice is so yummy! ๐ŸŒŸ The two drinks are super sweet, thoughโ€”I wouldn't recommend them. Rice + drink for just $19. ๐Ÿ’ฐ Allantico Vinaio ๐Ÿ I've had this in Florence! It's a global chain, and in Europe, I remember it being pretty affordable. But in New York, it's quite pricey! The one below with pistachio is delicious, though the photo doesn't do it justice ($20). The one above with tomato and chickenโ€”I forgot the nameโ€”is a bit bland ($15). Both portions are huge; if you have a small appetite, you might only finish half, but if you're hungry, you could manage three-quarters. ๐Ÿฝ๏ธ Shahs Halal Food ๐ŸŒฎ This one is so flavorful! It's Mexican rice + spicy sauce + chicken + salad. My friend got the regular rice without the spicy sauce, and it felt a bit plain. (The spicy sauce isn't actually spicy, though.) $10. ๐ŸŒถ๏ธ Law School Cafeteria on the Second Floor โ˜• There was an event that day, and they gave out mini bread rolls. $6. #NewYork ๐Ÿ—ฝ๏ธ
