Before coming, I kept wondering—would Auckland’s city center be lively and bustling? Now I’m here, and honestly… it looks exactly like what I saw online. The buildings aren’t very tall, and the urban vibe is far from overwhelming. But that doesn’t mean it lacks charm 😉 I experienced the city at all hours—early fog, sudden rainstorms, and finally… that gorgeous afternoon sunlight breaking through after the rain 🌦️✨ That’s when Auckland truly began to shine. Auckland’s city center feels more compact and refined—easy to explore, easy to love ❤️ I also visited the famous Queen Street (a quick warning: avoid it at night—you’ll get approached by some… interesting characters 🥴). But along the way, there are plenty of food spots worth trying! Very Chinese-friendly options around 🥢🍜 And can we talk about the Sky Tower at night? 🌌 So beautifully lit—it really stands out against the dark sky and becomes the symbolic heart of the city.
