Oaxaca: Mexico's Most Beautiful and Vibrant City 🌈🏙️

Oaxaca Travel Guide Part 2: Joining a Day Tour 🚌😎 Oaxaca's tourism industry is truly top-notch 👍! Whether it's dining, sightseeing, accommodation, or even communicating in English, everything is designed to make you feel at ease. Upon arriving at your hotel, you'll find numerous day tour advertisements at the front desk. You can simply call to make a reservation. 🎨🛠️ Alternatively, you'll also spot many travel agency employees on the streets holding signs and inviting tourists. Feel free to choose any day tour for the next day—Oaxaca's surroundings are full of fun spots, with multiple day tour options available. The most popular one is the following, which I joined on a whim after spotting a handsome guy on the street promoting his company's tour. All I had to do was wait at the hotel lobby the next morning for the bus 🚍. The day tour includes five exciting activities: 1️⃣ The World's Widest Tree (El Árbol del Tule) 🌳😮 2️⃣ Visiting Local Artisans' Workshops 3️⃣ Exploring the Ancient Ruins of Mitla 🏛️🗿 4️⃣ Hierve El Agua (also known as the Boiling Water Rocks or "Frozen Waterfall") 💦🏞️ 5️⃣ Touring a Tequila/Mezcal Distillery at Hierve El Agua (though this seems a bit of a repeat, maybe it's a typo and meant to be another unique stop? Let's go with it for now!) 🥃🏭 Among these, my absolute favorite was Hierve El Agua, which means "boiling water" in Spanish 🌡️💧. This stunning attraction consists of two rock cliffs, one large and one small, standing at a relative height of about 50-90 meters above the valley. The cliff faces are covered with a thick layer of white and brownish-yellow substances, making them look like frozen waterfalls from afar—a truly spectacular sight! 😍📸 #GlobalTravel #OverseasAdventures #InternationalGetaways 🌍✈️
