Obscure but Delicious Lobster Ravioli 🦞

Still in love with Mediterranean cuisine! Apart from some fried dishes, the menu is mostly light and high in protein, which is super friendly for those who need to eat out while cutting calories. 🍃 🐙 Octopus The slightly charred, roasted octopus is fresh and generous in portion. It’s a bit pricey at 30🔪, but it’s worth every penny. The protein is packed in! 🌟 🌟 Fresh Calamari This one is even more impressive! It’s sweeter than the octopus and might just outshine it. You can choose between fried or roasted, but I think the roasted version really brings out the natural flavor of the seafood. 🦑 🍅 Classic Greek A Greek restaurant staple! It all comes down to the freshness of the ingredients. The tomatoes are really sweet, and the feta cheese isn’t too tangy. This is one of my favorite feta cheeses I’ve had at home. 🍅 🦞 Lobster Ravioli The rich tomato sauce is flavorful but not heavy, with just the right amount of salt. The ravioli’s pasta might be a bit thick, but as a carb-lover from the North, I’m not complaining! 🍜 🥔 Home Fries I thought it would be fried potato chips, but it turned out to be these deliciously pan-fried potato chunks with bell peppers and onions. Good ingredients truly are the key to great dishes and healthy carbs! 🥔 The cozy little restaurant has a lovely balcony where you can sit and people-watch. It’s so relaxing! 🌇 I visited the Midtown East location, but there are also branches at WTC and Astoria. 📍 Anassa Taverna 200 E 60th St, New York, NY 10022 #NewYorkFoodie #NYC #FitnessFriendlyFood 🌟
