October New York Eats and Drinks(2)
🥟Pings Wanted to go to House of Joy for dim sum, but by the time we arrived, it was too late for their morning tea. So we ended up at Pings as a backup. They have more stir-fried dishes, but they still managed to satisfy our basic dim sum cravings. 🍔 🌿🌟 Make sure to order their truffle clams and crab rice—they’re delicious! 🌟 The service was a bit slow, but it didn’t really affect our overall experience. 💰Average cost: $50 per person | Rating: 4/5 🤵Chinese Tuxedo Their cucumber salad was right up my alley (tart and appetizing). 🥒 🌿🌟We didn’t take photos of all the dishes, but the quality was generally good. However, I couldn’t wrap my head around the prices. A bowl of lobster noodles for $100? 🤔 The average cost per person, including drinks, was $130 (we were a group of seven). 🌿🌟 We also tried the Year of the Snake cocktail, which was interesting but not to my taste. Overall, it’s a great spot for a group meal, but reservations are a must. 💰Average cost: $130 per person | Rating: 4/5 🍸Schmuck I really enjoyed their drinks, especially the strawberry cheesy. 🍸 For the food, we ordered sausage with white beans, which I didn’t love, but it was still tasty. The shrimp was also a bit salty. 🌿🌟 The dishes we ordered didn’t quite hit the mark, but the drinks were really good. The indoor and outdoor drink menus were different. We had a total of 14 drinks (7 cups times two). 💰Average cost: around $80-100 per person | Rating: 4/5 #NewYork 🌃🌟
