Tucked away in the heart of Charleston, this lovely bed and breakfast offered us an experience dipped in history and wrapped in warmth. We stayed in one of the four beautifully restored rooms in the old carriage house behind the main inn—and what a serene escape it was! 🍃🛌💤 The room was cozy, thoughtfully arranged, and full of character—exposed wooden beams, soft antique lighting, and a view of the quiet garden that made each morning feel peaceful. It was clean, well-equipped, and smelled faintly of magnolia and old books… the kind of place that invites you to slow down and breathe. 📖🌸🧼 Yes, the property carries its years with grace—some may say it could use a touch of updating here and there, but to me, that’s part of its soul. The slight wear on the floorboards, the vintage latch on the window—it all whispers stories of the Old South.
