Omaha, Nebraska 🧢
I used to think Nebraska was just all about corn and cows 🌽🐄, but Omaha surprised me! Here’s my little guide to help you find good food and fun in what some call a "food desert." 😉 🍜 Blue & Fly Asian Kitchen ⭐️⭐️⭐️🌟 Didn’t get to snap a pic (was in a hurry!), but this place is already trending on Xiaohongshu! Their weekly special—Sesame Red Bean Balls —were fragrant and not too sweet. Also tried the Stir-Fried Large Intestine with Scallions 🧅🔥… if you’re a offal lover, don’t miss this! Real wok hei here! 🦀 Cajun Crab & Pho ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️🌟 A Vietnamese-owned seafood boil spot—so flavorful! Highly recommend the All Mixed sauce with "Hot" spice level 🌶️. messy hands, happy heart! 🌆 Downtown Omaha Not much to do downtown, but head to The Old Market at night for drinks and dinner 🍷. Parking is easy (public/street options available). By day, stroll through the Old Market Passageway—a narrow lane filled with greenery and boutique shops 🌿🛍️. There’s also a small art studio featuring local artists 🎨. Didn’t have time to visit Buffett’s house this time 🏠, but you can always Google pics to decide if it’s worth a trip 😄. 🏨 Hotel Recommendation: The Peregrine Omaha Downtown (Curio Collection by Hilton) 🏙️🅿️ Most downtown hotels charge expensive parking fees, but this one offers free parking right across the street at Tower Park! Rooms are clean, stylish, and way nicer than the old Doubletree. 👍 #Foodie #USA #ChineseFood #HotelReview #Omaha #Nebraska #TravelTips #MidwestEats
