Omakase restruant in New York--That Place | Omakase
ππΌ For appetizers, I really love the tomato sauce oysters and truffle mushroom grilled wagyu. When the wagyu is grilled, the whole room is filled with the aroma of butter. ππΌ The sushi is all noteworthy, I enjoy the rich and fatty tuna belly and the soft and tender grilled scallops. My favorite is, of course, the sea urchin salmon roe rice, the sea urchin is incredibly fresh and sweet π₯Ή! The overall presentation is also very beautiful. The only issue was with the mackerel, which wasn't handled well and tasted a bit fishy (their ginger is thick-cut, especially tender and juicy, I had two plates of it). ππΌ Among the desserts, the matcha ice cream is exceptional, with a great balance between the creaminess and the aroma of matcha. πΆ The accompanying sake has a light body and is very smooth to drink. π΅ The music is great, and the service attitude is also good. πThat place π°$148per person π35-07 Broadway, Queens, NY 11106 #New York#That Place | Omakase#food diary
