One Day in Guadalajara: Discovering the Real Mexico

✅The magnificent cathedral in the city center was backlit in the morning, so I didn't take many photos. Inside, a religious ceremony was underway—the altar adorned with flowers and offerings, a beam of holy light illuminating the crucifix. ✅Santuario de San José de Gracia, located just a few hundred meters behind the cathedral, stood out with its towering bell tower. The two "skeletons" on either side turned out to be performers in costume, and there was even a dog chilling on a bicycle nearby. 💎Hospicio Cabañas, once a hospital, has been transformed into a museum. Though the collection is modest, I loved its bright, uplifting style—patients here must have felt happier and recovered faster. 📷Templo Expiatorio del Santísimo Sacramento was, in my opinion, the most beautiful church—unfortunately, no photos were allowed inside. 🌴Tlaquepaque Centro wasn’t initially on my itinerary, but since it was on the way to the airport, I stopped by. A wedding was taking place in the church, with guests singing and dancing, while quirky statues lined the streets. #MexicanCuisine #TravelMexico #Guadalajara
