One-Day Trip Around New York | Dia Beacon
🌟🌟A while back, during the fall, I rented a car and drove to Beacon to clear my head. The town of Beacon is so peaceful and beautiful. The scenery on the drive from BK was absolutely gorgeous. There’s a matcha shop in town that’s super popular. I tried it, but it was just okay to me. It’s not as good as Cha Cha in Dumbo. 🌟🌟As a long-time fan of Dia, I was thoroughly impressed by Dia Beacon. I originally went to see the sculptures by Louise Bourgeois, but I was blown away by Steve McQueen’s immersive installation downstairs. Dia Beacon feels like a space bathed in sunlight, so open and airy. 🌟🌟Living in New York, there are few moments when you can really slow down and take a good walk to look around. I didn’t get to visit Storm King because I didn’t buy tickets in advance. I spent the whole day in Beacon. In the evening, I chased the sunset, listening to Chris Brown’s “Autumn Leaves.” 🌟🌟Finally, I drove for over an hour to Fort Lee for Korean food. Returned to the island, fully recharged. #MyLifeSnippets #NewYork #AroundNewYork #beacon #diabeacon #artgallery #NewYorkFall #ootd #MyDailyLife
