One of the Best Steakhouses in Las Vegas! 🥩✨
While staying at Resorts World Las Vegas, I discovered a steakhouse called Carversteak on the casino level. They offer both fresh and aged steaks, so I set my sights on the 21-day wet-aged sirloin. The beef is sourced from Creekstone Farms, which I looked up and found is purebred Black Angus. 🐄✔️ One taste confirmed the exceptional quality—the aging gave the meat a complex, almost cheesy flavor (though, of course, slightly less intense than dry-aged). Since sirloin is already tender, the wet-aging made it even more so. The medium-rare center was incredibly tender, and the well-sealed juices are a given for a good steak. But what really stood out was the texture: layers of change from the outside in—a crispy crust, a chewy middle, and a tender, juicy interior. Cutting through all three layers and tasting them together was supremely satisfying! 😋🔥 For sides, we ordered broccoli and fries. The fries, coated in dried cheese, were another highlight—fried to ultimate crispiness on the outside, yet still soft and fluffy inside. The Parmesan paired perfectly with the potatoes, adding a delicious depth to the starch. 🧀🍟 We started with Scallop Crudo. "Crudo" means "raw" in Italian, referring to raw fish dishes from Italy's coastal villages, traditionally seasoned simply with lemon juice or vinegar and plenty of olive oil. Modern versions use citrus juices, spiced oils, and more. This scallop dish featured a Coconut Lime Vinaigrette and pickled cucumber—refreshing, appetizing, and invigorating, perfect with white wine. 🍸🍋 The scallop was delicate and sweet, with a slight kick from Serrano pepper. The complex flavors were expertly balanced, making it an outstanding starter. The second appetizer was a crab cake, with a beautifully seared, Maillard-rich crust and clearly defined, sweet crab meat inside, full of authentic crab flavor. 🦀🌟 We also ordered French onion soup for the family. Being in the U.S., it wasn’t quite as good as in its country of origin—a bit too salty, not savory enough, and the cheese flavor wasn’t prominent—but it still warmed the stomach nicely for the elders. 🧅🍲 The server was friendly and polite, and even my broken English was no problem for smooth communication. 🗣️👍 Before the steak, they brought a set of knives to choose from—including a Damascus style—and I picked one with my initials! ✨🔪 All in all, this is a spot I’ll return to again and again for great food and drinks! 🍷🎉 What’s your favorite steakhouse in Vegas?
