Only the brave visit Disney World Orlando in the summer! 😎
It’s been two weeks since I got back, and since I have some free time today, I’m finally organizing my four-day, four-park Disney experience to share here. Leaving a mark for myself—memory isn’t what it used to be as I get older! 😅 After wrapping up work in the U.S., I had about eight days to spare. Scrolling through my phone, I stumbled on Orlando Disney and decided on a whim with my daughter to spend a few days there. When friends heard, they urged me to reschedule for winter, warning about the brutal August heat and risk of heatstroke. 🥵 But after some thought, since flying here isn’t easy and who knows when I’ll be back, I decided to go for it anyway. 💪 Planning for Orlando Disney is like prepping for the gaokao (college entrance exam)! 😮 I browsed tons of expert notes on Xiaohongshu, liking, saving, and studying them over and over—until my head was spinning. 🥴 I ended up buying one Genie+ Lightning Lane for the hottest ride in each park and adopted a "go with the flow" mindset. On day one at EPCOT, I quickly realized the "exam syllabus" had changed—most of the 2024 strategies were already outdated! 😳 So I switched into special forces mode 🪖 and surprisingly finished all the headliner rides by noon. By 3 PM, I’d collected stamps from all 11 countries around the World Showcase. 🌍 That day I walked over 24,000 steps—completely wiped out! 😫 Some of the times noted in my photos are from entering the line to finishing the ride. The longest wait was only about 50 minutes. Anyone who’s endured 120 or even 180-minute queues at Shanghai Disney knows this is nothing! 🎢 Highly recommend staying at a Disney resort hotel 🏨—take advantage of the Early Entry benefit to get in 30 minutes early and knock out 1-2 popular rides before the general crowd. The fireworks at Magic Kingdom were absolutely magical! 🎆✨ My top 3 favorite rides: Avatar Flight of Passage — legendary! 🤩 Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster 🎸 And the weather? Actually not as bad as I expected. ☀️ Most outdoor queues were short, and once indoors, it was cool. Unlike Shanghai’s sticky heat, Orlando has breezes at night—way more comfortable! 🌬️ #Disney #Orlando
