I finally got to see Monet’s Water Lilies in Paris! I was captivated by the panoramic view of the pond in his hometown, Giverny, and each piece conveys a different atmosphere. The giant water lily paintings in the circular room are truly breathtaking; no photo can capture their stunning beauty. The water lilies have a calming power that left me enchanted for over an hour—what a joy to see these monumental works in person! ❤️ The natural imagery presented in the water lilies feels mysterious. Their oval shapes eliminate any illusions, creating an astonishing piece without patterns or borders. Louis Gillet said at the Orangerie opening: "There’s no sky, no horizon, almost no perspective or stable reference point, allowing viewers to appreciate its beauty from various angles!" 🌌✨ #France #Paris #Museums #WaterLilies #Monet #MonetWaterLilies #OrangerieMuseum
