Finally tried Kaya! Thought it was 5 courses... turns out it was 5 waves of food. First time ever not finishing a chef's menu! 😅 (Early arrivals welcome—everyone eats at their own pace.) Kinilaw Madai ceviche with apple, fennel, coconut, chili oil. Not a ceviche person, so no comment. 🐟🍎🥥 Pancit Sotanghon Glass noodles, mushrooms, poached egg. A bit salty. 🍜🧂 Lumpiang Sariwa Fresh spring rolls! Veggie-heavy but not salty—my taste buds revived! 🌯💚 Braised Pork Sandwich Melt-in-your-mouth pork (still salty), saved by the puto cake bun. 🐖🍞 Afritada Cherry tomatoes = yum, but still salty. Garlic rice helped! 🍅🧄🍚 Dessert Blacked out after the mains, but the kalamansi ice cream stood out! Also heard their spaghetti is 🔥—next time! 🍦🍝 Verdict: Better to order à la carte.
