Orlando Disney: LLM - Lightning Lane š
After covering Orlando Disney World basics in my last post, this oneās all about mastering Lightning Lane (LLM) usage! I didnāt visit Magic Kingdom, and I didnāt buy LLM for Animal Kingdom ā so Iāll only share tips for EPCOT and Hollywood Studios. How LLM Works š When purchasing LLM, you must choose 1 Tier A ride (top-tier/hot) and 2 Tier B rides (less popular). They canāt be in the same sub-park (each park has multiple sub-parks ā Iāll explain in my next post!). The best part? You can book your next LLM as soon as you scan in at the ride entrance ā no need to wait until the ride ends to rebook! Pro LLM Booking Strategy š” Prioritize grabbing a Tier A ride first ā itās a must! For Tier B, pick one popular option, then the earliest available time slot. I didnāt buy Individual Lightning Lane (ILL), so I relied on queuing for super hot rides. But since I stayed at a Disney hotel, I had Early Entry! I rushed straight to the most popular ride (1-2 per park, usually Tier A) that normally has 90-minute waits right when the park opened. This let me ride it in just 30 minutes ā then I used my earliest booked Tier B LLM, and immediately rebooked more ēéØ rides. Once you use your first LLM, the "no same sub-park" rule no longer applies! Results & Worth It? ā Only 1-2 popular rides sold out of LLM, so I had to queue for those ā but max wait time was 40 minutes (totally manageable after knocking out the top ride first!). With LLM, I booked 5-6 rides + shows per day at both parks. 100% recommend buying it! Overall, combining Disney hotel Early Entry with LLM let me ride almost EVERY attraction at EPCOT and Hollywood Studios ā game-changer!
