Orlando Disney: More Like a Boot Camp for Weight Loss š«£
Walking over 15,000 steps a day + eating some⦠questionable food⦠itās hard not to lose weight! The parks are hugeāwe did one park per day. We bought Lightning Lane for popular rides and explored casually with friends. Even without rushing, we still clocked 10,000+ steps daily š«”. Animal Kingdom was the most walking! Highly recommend Avatar Flight of Passageāsuper fun! Zootopia was just okay for meānot as good as Shanghaiās Hot Pursuit. Kilimanjaro Safaris in Africa is a must-do! Feels like youāre really in Africaāgo in the morning! š¦š Disney Food Hits & Misses š ā The Polite Pig š (Disney Springs) Huge portions of American BBQ. We ordered a "meal for two" for four people and still couldnāt finish it. Taste was just average⦠but inside Disney, itās considered decent. ā Satuāli Canteen šŖ» (Animal Kingdom, near Avatar) The best meal I had at Disney! Build-your-own bowl: choose protein ā base ā sauce. I got chicken + shrimp with sweet potatoes; my friend got beef + noodles. We both picked green onion sauceāso good! The crunchy boba inside was sweet and tangy. ā Mickey Pretzel (Animal Kingdom) Tasted like a normal pretzel⦠but the shape was⦠questionable. š„Øš āāā Shiki-Sai š£š (Japan Pavilion, EPCOT) The absolute worst meal! This was the only reservation we madeāsuper crowded, but so disappointing. I had udon (way too salty), my friend had wagyu rice (bland). No idea why itās so hyped! The view by the window was nice, though. ā Jaleo š¦ (Disney Springs) Spanish tapasātasted great, but portions were ridiculously small. We ordered steak and grilled chicken⦠gone in one bite before we could take photos. ā Fairfax Fare š„ (Hollywood Studios) Salad/noodles in a waffle bowlācreative, but not tasty. My soba noodle salad was weirdly sweet, noodles felt plastic-y. Friends didnāt like the pork or beef either. Played at Disney for 3 days, lost 2 poundsāa week might lose 5! šš¼ #TheHappiestPlaceOnEarth #Orlando #Disney #DisneyOrlandoGuide #DisneyFood #Foodie #CheckingInOnInternationalStudentsMentalState
