Orlando Food Weekly Diary ~ 📝
1️⃣ ChiliSpot "Orlando’s best Chinese food" vs. "They turned us away multiple times, never again!" 🤔 We got lucky – walked in at peak hour with no wait! Tried their famous tofu and fish… but it was just okay? Not sure what the hype is about TuT 2️⃣ Spring Tea Ordered two mango pomelo sago drinks – the pomelo was crazy bitter 😖 3️⃣ Kyushu Ramen & Bar Got the omurice + pork cutlet + drink combo. Not bad! It was my boyfriend’s first time trying omurice, and he declared it "the best food ever" (white boys have no culinary culture 😂). Big surprise: The lemonade with cucumber 🥒 was incredibly refreshing! 4️⃣ Raising Cane’s A classic filler meal! Cane’s never fails. After Kelly Park, we were exhausted. Two 3-finger combos with extra Cane’s sauce and toast saved the day. We devoured it in the car without saying a word 🚗👅 5️⃣ Susuru 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼 The highlight! Everything was delicious! After a freezing day at Universal + getting soaked on rides + showering at the hotel + waiting an hour in line… a bowl of warm tonkotsu ramen was HEAVEN 🍜❤️ (Saw reviews saying the broth was bland – hard disagree!) The silk tofu, chicken skin, thick-cut beef tongue, and sausages were all fire! Blind order with confidence! 6️⃣ World’s Largest McDonald’s Overhyped! 🎮 Second floor = arcade, third floor = kids’ play area. Just a novelty spot. Skip the pasta and pizza – we tried Philly Steak and McRib… surprisingly awful. Ended up with hotel room service. 7️⃣ Lao Wang Next Door Called "Orlando’s best skewers," but service was… controversial. Skewers were okay (not better than our local spot), but the service was fine! The server was working non-stop – what more do people want? Kneeling service? 😅 8️⃣ Suan Cai Fish Too tired on our last day to go out. This place was 0.4 miles away, so we ordered takeout and crashed after eating 🐟💤 Wanted to try the fish, but portion was too big for one. Decent, but not memorable. #USA #AmericanFood #OrlandoEats #FoodDiary 🍜✨
