Orlando Universal: Epic Universe + Halloween Horror Nights 👻
Visited on October 22nd – perfect timing for Halloween haunted houses! Already explored the other parks, so this trip was all about Epic Universe, followed by Horror Nights. Download the Universal app beforehand – it’s a must for checking wait times and pre-ordering food📱. 🎢 Epic Universe Adventures Thought a Wednesday would be less crowded… nope, it was packed! We only hit the top rides: 🟢 Harry Potter and the Forbidden Journey: The park’s most popular ride! We rushed straight there with Early Access at 9 AM – still waited a full 2 hours. Personally, I prefer the Harry Potter ride at the other park⚡. 🟢 Curse of the Werewolf: A roller coaster with a backward segment – super fun! The line moved fast, only waited ~30 mins🔄. 🟢 Stardust Racers: The park’s most thrilling coaster! Blazing fast, with two tracks for a racing vibe. Waited around 25 mins – totally worth it💨. 🟢 Yoshi’s Adventure: Other Mario Land rides had 2-hour waits, but this was only 40 mins. It’s totally for kids, but you get great views of the entire Mario Land’s decor🥰. 🍕 Lunch at Mario Land Ate at the Mario-themed restaurant – pre-ordered via phone. Got seated in 5 mins even during peak hours! Food isn’t mind-blowing, but the presentation is cute. It’s a bit pricey, though. 👻 Halloween Horror Nights Left Epic around 4:30 PM to head to Horror Nights. We only bought Horror Nights tickets, so we had to wait until 6 PM to enter. The entrance was packed – never seen so many people in the US before😱! The staff were super dedicated – noticed I was filming and even interacted with my camera (Pic 10)📸. Jump scares were non-stop – the girl in front of us dropped her drink from fright! Haunted house waits were crazy too – top IPs had ~2-hour lines, so we picked our favorites: 👻 Fallout & Galkn: Next to each other – we rushed there first when doors opened (fewer people). Amazing set designs! We had to walk in a single file – pretty scary alone. 👻 Doll: All kinds of dolls – not that terrifying, in my opinion. 👻 Hatchet & Chains: Slightly gory, but not very scary. 👻 El Artista: Big-budget haunted house in a castle – great atmosphere, not too scary. Called it a night around 10:30 PM – too tired to queue more! If you’ve visited other haunted houses, feel free to share your thoughts👇. #Orlando #OrlandoUniversal #EpicUniverse #HalloweenHorrorNights #UniversalOrlandoGuide #SpookySeason #ThemeParkFun
