Osaka Nakanoshima 🚶‍♂️ | A Walking Poem on the Artistic Island

Due to my teammate’s sudden departure, the rest of my trip to Osaka became a solo adventure. 🌿✨ I decided to abandon the distant plans and, just like a regular weekend in Chengdu, explore the untouched corners of the city on foot. 🌆✨After bidding farewell to my teammate at Herbis at noon, I headed south along the small road of Dōjima, crossing the bridge to enter the west side of Nakanoshima. Right after the bridge are the National Museum of Art, the Nakanoshima Museum of Art, and the Science Museum. 🌿✨ Due to time constraints, I didn’t visit the exhibitions, but the architectural shadows under the good weather were art in themselves. Walking eastward along the river, the east side of Nakanoshima is home to the Osaka City Hall, 🏛️ the Osaka Prefectural Library (open for visits), the Central Public Hall (not open to the public), the Museum of Oriental Ceramics, and the Tadao Ando Children’s Forest Library (entry by reservation). 🌆✨ I felt the weight of history inside the Prefectural Library and rediscovered the joy of childhood at the Children’s Forest. 🌿✨ #Osaka 🌆✨
