Oslo, Norway Folkemuseum
In Norway, there's a superstition called "touch the wood," believing that wood can bring good luck. The Folkemuseum truly showcases the Norwegians' extensive use of wood. The decorations feature floral and other natural elements, which perfectly align with my aesthetic. 🌸 The exhibition itself isn't overly extensive, but the real highlight is the collection of houses from various regions of Norway within the museum grounds. Some of them are open for visitors to explore, making them perfect spots for still-life photography. 📸 There are even livestock like cows and sheep roaming around, and many young parents are visiting with their children. There are also staff members dressed in traditional Norwegian costumes cooking soup. Today, it was onion soup, which I didn't try. The souvenir shop offers a variety of wooden items to choose from. Afterward, I took a ride to Huk Bay. Oslo has already entered winter, and the sunsets are getting earlier and earlier. I braved the chilly sea breeze to watch the sunset before saying goodbye. 🌇 #porcelain #oslo #norway #norwegianlife #norwegiantravel #museumart
