Oslo Akershus Pier πŸŒ… Sunset Salmon Feast

Restaurant Name: The Salmon πŸ“ Strandpromenaden 11, 0252 Oslo, Norway πŸ’° Average Cost per Person: NOK 600-700 Menu Highlights: 🍣 Salmon Sushi Platter (20 pieces) β€” NOK 475 / RMB 312 A 20-piece sushi platter (Figures 8-10): Sashimi (6 pieces) Salmon Nigiri (6 pieces) Spicy Salmon Maki (8 pieces) (It's described as spicy, but I didn't taste any spiciness at all.) πŸ§‡ Norwegian Waffle with Salmon β€” NOK 195 / RMB 129 (Figures 4-5) First time trying salmon waffles! The sweet-savory combination is perfect. The waffle itself is only slightly sweet and soft, topped with diced salmon, finely chopped onions, salmon roe sauce, and chives. It's not greasy at all. πŸ₯™ Salmon Tartare β€” NOK 215 / RMB 142 (Figures 6-7) The dish has a tangy flavor, with a lemony sauce under the salmon. It's a delight for those who love sour flavors! It feels somewhat like Mexican salsa, and they generously added a lot of fish roe. It comes with three slices of toasted bread. Placing the salmon with the sauce on the bread is incredibly delicious! 🍸 Pink Collins β€” NOK 130 / RMB 86 A pink gin cocktail with raspberries and lemon juice. It tastes tangy and has a low alcohol content. The waitress said it's a great choice and complimented me on my selection. 😊 πŸ₯‚ White Wine β€” NOK 185 / RMB 122 A white wine that my friend enjoyed. I'm not very knowledgeable about wine, so I'll just mention it briefly. About the Restaurant: There's a small but noteworthy highlight: The restaurant has a waiting area with seats and a screen that continuously plays videos related to salmon, making the wait as comfortable and interesting as possible. I really appreciated this touch. πŸ₯‚ Additional Notes: Reservations are recommended: I didn't make a reservation and ended up waiting for about half an hour. Outdoor seating is more atmospheric: The restaurant faces the famous Akershus Pier πŸŒ…. Enjoying salmon while feeling the sea breeze during sunset is truly delightful. A wedding couple: During our meal, we saw a newlywed couple posing for wedding photos. They had at least ten friends and family members on the opposite side taking pictures. It was such a happy scene! (Figure 13) Excellent service: The staff were very friendly. There was also an incredibly beautiful waitress (Figure 17) with amazing physique management! A must-visit again: This is a restaurant I would definitely revisit if I go to Oslo again. I'm recording these memories to cherish them...πŸ₯‚ #oslo #OsloFood #OsloTravel #Oslo #OsloItinerary #OsloTravelTips #NorwegianFood #NorwegianSalmon #Salmon #LifeInNorway
