Otaru is truly Fushimi-like! With an ultra-complete route strategy ๐ผ
Firstly, I highly recommend staying overnight in Otaru; one day is really not enough to explore! ๐ธ๐บ๐ฟ๐ The streets are lined with single-family homes in red, green, white, and brownโcolors that exude a Fushimi vibe ๐ ๐จ You can store your large luggage at Sapporo Station and travel light, saving you both worry and effort ๐๐งณ ๐ธ๐บ๐ฟ๐ ๐บ๏ธOtaru isn't very big, so staying close to the subway station is advisable, especially since walking in the snow can be inconvenient ๐โ๏ธ At around 9 AM, take the JR train from Sapporo to Otaru. Around 10 AM, get off at 1๏ธโฃZenibako Station ๐ธ๐บ๐ฟ๐ . As soon as you exit the station, you'll be greeted by the sea; you can walk on the beach. The bay combined with the sandy beach is perfect for photos, but the winter wind is really cold. ๐ธ๐บ๐ฟ๐ We took an express train that stops at Zenibako, allowing us to get off and explore. Check the train schedule in advance, and an hour stop at Zenibako for photography is more than enough. ๐ธ๐ฌ๏ธ ๐ธ๐บ๐ฟ๐ #Otaru
