🥳 Paris | A Cozy French Bistro 🥳
I stumbled upon this little gem of a restaurant with a surprising 4.7 rating! 😯 Affordable dining in a wealthy neighborhood, just a two-minute walk from le bon marche. 🤣 Red checkered tablecloths for a warm and cozy atmosphere. Plus, the enthusiastic and friendly hostess (a stark contrast to the aloof Parisians 🤫). It feels just like visiting a family home in southern France. When we arrived right after opening, it was almost full. Besides us, it seemed like all the patrons were locals, hh. The place is a bit cramped but spans two floors~ I'm not quite sure about the specific culinary classification, but it's said that this place specializes in southern French cuisine. There were seven of us, so we pretty much ordered one of each plat. A few dishes we particularly enjoyed: Confit duck legs 🍗 with crispy and fragrant skin. Pork knuckle sausage 😋, the sausage was so juicy, and the pork knuckle was tender and fell off the bone~ Carbonara pasta 🧀, rich in creamy flavor with crispy, slightly burnt bacon 🥓. But!! The steak 🥩 was so tough... couldn't chew it... One friend loved the fish, but we found the seasoning quite strange. For appetizers, there was a pumpkin and chestnut soup that was fragrant with bread~ The others were just so-so, I'm not a big fan of cold dishes hh. #Paris #ParisFood #ParisianDining #AffordableParisianDining #ParisTravel #ParisianDiningRecommendations #Paris7thArrondissement #Paris7thDistrict #ParisLife #ParisGroupDining
