🌟 Paris | Affordable Michelin Lunch for 58 Euros per Person 🌟
When it comes to Michelin, many people's first reaction is expensive! But during this trip to Paris, I checked off many affordable Michelin restaurants and found , not losing out to those with hundreds of euros per person. Today's spot is Restaurant Pantagruel💙. It's a small place but with great knowledge! There are two options for the lunch set, and since I wasn't very hungry after breakfast, I chose the 3 chapters one. I also recommended my companion, who was very hungry, to choose the 5 chapters one, fearing he wouldn't be full, but it turned out to be unnecessary! Bread is unlimited, and by the time we reached dessert, we were so full we could barely walk out of the restaurant! The amuse bouche was the same for both, and we all agreed that except for the one wrapped in a leaf, which was not to our taste, the rest were delicious! At this point, the waiter came with butter and freshly baked bread~The butter is mixed with miso and is served tableside, which is very comforting! Unlike other black truffle butter/garlic butter, this one takes a more refreshing route. Bread can be chosen between white sourdough or whole wheat with pumpkin seeds, and I personally think the whole wheat one is more fragrant! The appetizers revolved around quail eggs, with three small dishes. The middle one arrived with a lot of flair🧚♀️, but when opened, it turned out to be dark cuttlefish ink + quail egg mousse, haha, with a strong smoky flavor and a very unique taste. The other two were white asparagus and another quail egg dish, both of which were good. For the main course, you can choose between veal or fish. We all agreed that the veal my friend and I chose was superior, very tender with the texture of wagyu! The sauce was just right, not overpowering. The side dishes included peas and lobster sashimi🦞. The peas were incredibly spring-like!!! I loved them! It was the fresh aroma of the ingredients themselves! The lobster sashimi was paired with a sweet strawberry🍓sauce, which was a bit unusual, haha. The desserts here were not very "French", why? Because they were not sweet at all, showing more acidity! Those three long rolls were all made with various fruits and vegetables. The yellow one was the best, the other two were too sour! The others were an apple tart and ice cream, both of which were good👍🏻. Overall, if you have time, you can give this place a try. The overall level is very online, and the lunch set is also cost-effective. I haven't been for dinner yet, so friends who have been can tell me how it was~ #AuthenticFoodOnTrip #ParisFood #TonightsDinner #Michelin #MichelinRestaurantExploration #AffordableYetDelicious #ParisExploration
