Paris | Carb Lover’s Dream 🥪 Cedric Grolet

🌟 Cedric Grolet has two stores in Paris—one near Opéra and the other at Le Meurice hotel. !! The Opéra store is famous for its croissants and other puff pastry desserts, with waiting times usually starting at 40 minutes. In contrast, the Le Meurice store focuses on cakes and mousses and rarely has queues. 💯 I highly recommend the signature plain croissant and custard tart at the Opéra store—they’re incredibly fragrant, crispy, and soft! (Personally, I prefer the custard tart.) I strongly suggest arriving when the doors open at 9 AM; it’s best to start queuing between 8 and 8:30 AM to ensure you get the first batch of freshly baked croissants. The first time I went late and missed out; the second time, I waited for 40 minutes and luckily got the croissants just after 10 AM. 🌟 Chocolate lovers can also try the chocolate flavors. As for the various cakes, they tend to be on the sweeter side, so they might become a bit too rich if you eat too much. ☕️ If you don’t want to wait in line, you can make a reservation at the Café to sit down and enjoy your desserts at leisure. You can also pre-order cakes, pizzas, and other desserts. However, note that croissants and custard tarts, among other puff pastry desserts, are not available for pre-order, so make sure to wake up early and queue! #ParisianFood #ParisTravel
