I never expected to find such good value and delicious French cuisine right at the doorstep of the Louvre! It was a delightful surprise! The ambiance in the restaurant is full after dark, with every table having a candle, making it perfect for a date. The restaurant is spacious, unlike many others that are quite cramped. The outdoor seating allows for a glass of wine, giving off a very relaxed French vibe. The service is excellent, with waiters who are attentive and refill your water. The price is reasonable for the service and environment—appetizers + main course + a starter/dessert for 40 euros. If you choose both a starter and a dessert, it's only 46 euros. Appetizers No need to order, the waiters will bring them directly to you. The fish is tender, topped with a small dollop of sour cream that adds a lot of flavor. Starters We each chose a different starter. Mushroom and Fish Carpaccio 🐟 Delicious! The fish is very fresh, the mushrooms are fragrant, and paired with the pickled tangy onions on the side, there are many textures and flavors that blend together in your mouth, creating a layered experience with each bite offering a variety of tastes. Octopus Salad 🐙 Average (but the octopus with cherry tomatoes is really good!) Main Course We both chose the same cod. The fish is consistently tender and elastic.
