Paris | Monet’s Garden with a Chinese-Style Landscape and a Carousel
🏞️ Parc Monceau 35 Bd de Courcelles, 75008 Paris 🚇 Line 2, Monceau Station ✨ This park is breathtakingly beautiful on a sunny day. Colorful flowers bloom across the lawns and trees, and the sunlight casts shadows of the tall trees on the grass. Both my model and I were visiting for the first time, and we couldn’t stop marveling at the ever-changing scenery. I can only imagine how stunning it must be in other seasons. ✨ Online descriptions call it an English-style garden, reportedly Monet’s favorite park in Paris. Yet, it features rockeries, stone bridges, and weeping willows, reminiscent of a Chinese garden. Some say these elements were borrowed from our traditional gardens and later reintroduced as "British charm." ✨ The park looks small on the map but feels quite spacious when you walk through it. By the lake, there’s a gorgeous carousel that’s incredibly photogenic. ✨ The tall flowering trees make for a stunning background, especially when shot from a low angle with a slight upward tilt for portraits. ✨ If you’re unsure how to capture the beauty, feel free to reach out.
