Paris | The Fountains of Versailles π
In the summer, the gardens of Versailles open at night, allowing visitors to experience the normally closed bosquet thickets and fountains. We visited last Saturday evening and were truly enchanted by the fountains in the garden! β¨ We entered directly from the garden entrance, where many bosquet areas await exploration according to the map. We were amazed to discover so many fountains β²οΈ; itβs hard to appreciate their charm without this nighttime experience. Countless intricately designed fountains burst forth amidst artificial mist, accompanied by classical symphonies echoing around us. It felt like we had become the King of France! After dinner, we strolled through the grand gardens to digest our meal, though it was a bit crowded. Entry starts at 8:30 PM, and it takes about two hours to explore the entire garden. The fireworks display begins at 10:50 PM, lasting for about 15 minutes. If you have a Royal ticket, you can enjoy the fireworks from a very close vantage point. We didnβt purchase the Royal ticket, but we found a great viewing spot on the steps in front of the palace, where we could enjoy the fireworks from above. The flame show along the long green belt of the garden was also quite visible. Plus, there was a bubble machine 𫧠continuously making bubbles, creating a magical atmosphere as they danced around the ancient fountains. Summer is already over this year, but make sure to plan a visit next summer! #LifeInFrance #ParisLife #HiddenTravelGems #Versailles #VersaillesPalace #MusicalFountains
