Paris: A Moving Feast
Reflecting on my few days in Paris, it feels like a dream. Here, it's easy to strike up conversations with others, just like the night I went to the Caveau de la Huchette jazz bar. I naturally chatted with a pair of Danish girls at the next table. They didn't buy tickets to get in; instead, they showed their charm to the security and danced the ballroom dance freely in the dance floor, expressing their inner emotions to the music... Paris is a city that never sleeps. It was past ten o'clock when I left the bar, but the street-side restaurants were still bustling. I ordered a plate of garlic snails and a burrata salad for a late-night snack, which was delicious 😋. I hailed a taxi to go back, and the driver, seeing my fondness for the twinkling Eiffel Tower, slowed down on the empty streets to let me take enough photos... Before coming to Europe, I had already bought tickets to the Musée d'Orsay online and entered the museum early in the day. Standing in front of these world-famous artworks felt unreal, as if I was traveling through time to meet the predecessors, and the great artistic thoughts have been immortalized through the test of time; After leaving the museum, I was looking for a restaurant and stumbled upon many art shops along the way. Walking around, any random corner could bring surprises, always stopping to appreciate the beauty; I want to record three restaurants: 📍81 Rue de Seine 75006, their cream-baked mini mussels and fries were fantastic. It turns out that French fries taste better when eaten in France. In the afternoon sun, enjoying the food at the corner restaurant is a memory I still cherish; 📍8 place saint germain des prés, I like those restaurants with historical backgrounds. I heard it's a century-old establishment that many literati once flocked to, right on Boulevard Saint-Germain. Sitting down for a cup of coffee, I let my imagination run free and romanticize; 📍173 Boulevard Saint Germain, the outdoor garden restaurant behind the Ralph Lauren store, Ralph’s, looks fantastic and leaves a lasting impression; As an ordinary tourist, Paris weaves a romantic dream that is memorable and unforgettable. No matter where I go, this romance will always be with me. #Paris #ParisTravel #Musée d'Orsay
