Paris Creative Mystery Box French Cuisine at JJ Beaumarchais ❤️
🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 This place definitely deserves five stars. The Google rating of 4.9 is well-earned. You must go; there are no pitfalls, no discomfort, and the prices are very reasonable. In the evening, there are two set menus: a 4-course meal for 46 euros and a 5-course meal for 56 euros. The extra course is an amuse-bouche (I opted for the 4-course meal because I wasn’t expecting much initially, but after eating, I feel like everyone should go for the extra small dish!). The exspecial is that the dishes are served in a mystery box format. Just tell the waiter about your dietary restrictions, and the rest is a surprise. I’m a very picky eater, but this restaurant can make things you normally don’t like unrecognizable. The menu changes every quarter, so you can taste new flavors every time you go back. Mystery box lovers, charge! 🥇 The first course was a roasted mini pumpkin with a variety of vegetable crumbles, fragrant nuts, and sour cream, topped with a sweet and sour sauce. An excellent choice to start and whet the appetite. 🥈 The second course was a large, well-cooked beef dumpling with cream cheese, fried mushrooms, and a foam-like sauce on top. This one was a bit salty; I recommend dipping it in bread. 🥉 The third course was a melt-in-your-mouth cod that I’ve never had so tender; it didn’t even need chewing. It also had carrot and bell pepper crumbles and carrot sauce, with caviar and fried leek strips hidden in the dish. Each course was perfect for dipping bread in the sauce, and the portion was just right. 🏅 The fourth course was a rum baba with passion fruit sauce, marinated pineapple, and coconut mousse cream. All the ingredients in this dish were exactly what I usually avoid, haha. I asked the waiter if I could switch the dessert for taste reasons, and they agreed! They served me a chocolate lava cake with vanilla ice cream and caramel crumble on top. So delicious and yummy! The service was exceptional; the waiters kindly asked about dietary restrictions, introduced each dish before serving, and silently refilled bread and water. They even kindly switched my dessert for me; I was moved to tears. Closed on Mondays and Sundays, remember to make a reservation. Located in the famous Marais area, across from Merci. Average cost: Around 50 euros, with a 30€/3-course menu available at lunch! #FrenchCuisine #RestaurantRecommendations #100RestaurantsChallenge #FoodDiary #RestaurantRecommendations #ParisDining #ParisRestaurants #WhatToEatInParis #AtmosphericWesternCuisine #PrivateCollectionOfNicheRestaurants
