Paris Exhibition | Stephen Jones 🎨 The Real-Life Mad Hatter

【Stephen Jones: Chapeaux d'artiste (The Artist's Hats)】 🎩✨ 🕐 Dates: Oct 19, 2024 – Mar 16, 2025 📍 Location: Palais Galliera, Musée de la Mode de Paris 🎟️ Ticket: €12 (full price) The last time I visited Palais Galliera for an exhibition was years ago during Paris Men’s Fashion Week for the epic Margiela retrospective. 🖤👁️ This time, the Stephen Jones exhibition was equally mesmerizing! 👏🎭 Even if you’re not familiar with Stephen Jones’ name, fashion lovers will recognize his iconic hat designs. 👒✨ This millinery legend has collaborated with countless top designers and brands, leaving his mark on fashion history. My favorite part of the exhibition? His early career tied to the New Romantic movement—an era of wild, boundless creativity and self-expression. 🌈🎸 Jones’ collaborations with key figures of the time produced legendary looks, cementing his role in fashion’s evolution. The first half focuses on his London years, but the real spotlight is on his Paris era—because, like all great designers, he eventually gravitated to the fashion capital. 🇫🇷💫 While the latter section showcases stunning collaborations with French houses, it also feels like a love letter to French fashion (even the final interview video leans into this). 🎥🥖 Interesting, given Paris’s mythic influence—but a bit heavy-handed! Anyways, ✨ this is a must-see exhibition—the first in 40+ years at Palais Galliera dedicated to a single accessory (hats!). 🔥 Jones is basically the real-life Mad Hatter—his designs are wildly imaginative yet technically flawless. 🎩⚡ Whether you’re a fashion pro or just a curious visitor, it’s a visual feast. #exhibitionrecommendations #letsgoexhibitions #artvisualfeast #artexhibitioncheckin #designersguidetoshows #hiddenexhibitions #myexhibitiondiary #haute couture #paris #parisfashion
