❣️Driving from the UK to France with pets is not difficult, especially since I chose to take the ferry this time. Starting from London, it takes about an hour and a half to reach the Dover port without traffic jams. After boarding the ship 🚢, it takes another hour and a half to arrive at the Calais port in France, with a time difference of +1. 🥰We took the Irish Ferries, and the ticket price is calculated based on the car rather than the number of people, so theoretically, it's more cost-effective to fill a car with 4 people 🤩, and it's also much cheaper than flying or taking the train!! Pets are charged separately, £15 one way, and a pet health certificate is required. 👍 There are several ferries per day, and they won't sell out, so booking a few days in advance usually ensures availability.
