🍁 Paris Late Autumn Ultimate Outdoor Spot for Strolling with Kids 🌳
Every end of October and beginning of November, I'm glued to the weather forecast, waiting for a rain-free weekend to head to Vallée aux Loups Park. 🍂 Late autumn at Vallée aux Loups is simply stunning. The treetops are adorned with bright red maple leaves, and the eyes are met with a canvas of colorful autumnal hues. The park is set with various paths and small bridges, perfect for children to wander and discover the essence of autumn. My little one found many beautiful red maple leaves inside, which we can later use for a nature-inspired arts and crafts session at home. 🌲 The park's most distinctive and star attraction is this 150-year-old European weeping blue Atlas cedar, the largest of its kind. Standing before it, one is utterly awestruck. It feels as if no photograph can truly capture the grandeur seen with the naked eye. There's a certain magic about this tree that has the power to calm the soul, while also making one feel the insignificance of humans before nature and time. 🪴 There's also a small, yet exquisite greenhouse with dozens of fine bonsai trees. Many of these miniature trees, as per the descriptions, are nearly a hundred years old. It's a place where you can see a collection of different styles of bonsai in one go. Note that the bonsai area closes at 4 PM from November. 🐐 Near the exit, there are two adorable black sheep that children simply love. 🏠 If time allows, you can also visit the former residence of the French writer, Maison de Chateaubriand, deep within the park. In summary, this free park, though not large, boasts an incredibly rich diversity of plant life, making it an ideal place for a family to enjoy a pleasant afternoon stroll. Highly recommend everyone to visit before autumn slips away~ #FrenchLife #ParisKidFriendlySpots #NaturalSceneryShare#CulturalAttractionsShare #Paris #ValleeAuxLoups #MapleLeaves
