If you're looking for a Michelin three-star dining experience in Paris without the five-hour dinner commitment, I chose this classic French restaurant located away from the city center, nestled in the Bois de Boulogne forest. Compared to other three-star restaurants, it's a bit more exclusive, and the environment is truly beautiful, making you feel like you're dining in a manor. 🏰 The overall flavor of the dishes is a bit heavier, with some memorable highlights: ✅ Asparagus 🌱 The white asparagus is so tender it's heavenly, paired with a miso sauce that's very unique. ✅ Langoustine 🦐 The ravioli with duck liver and langoustine covered with gold leaf – who could resist? ✅ Salmon 🐟 The cherry wood-smoked salmon is tender and fragrant. ✅ Cheese 🧀 A savory soufflé that's incredibly soft and comes in a large portion, which can be a bit rich as you get towards the end. Both the appetizers and main courses are outstanding, even the bread is crispy on the outside and soft on the inside, I had to keep myself from eating too much. The presentation is elegant and simple. In comparison, the desserts are slightly less impressive. When I made the reservation, I noted it was an Anniversary, and they kindly gifted us an extra chocolate cake (but it was incredibly, incredibly sweet ). The service is also excellent. The location is a bit far in the 16th district, but actually, getting a Bolt taxi after leaving the restaurant is quite fast. The restaurant is quite close to the Musée Marmottan Monet, a 25-minute walk away, so you can stroll over after your meal. 💰 Lunch sets are 310/380 euros, and on weekdays, there's a lighter 175 euro option available. There is no à la carte menu. 👔 Smart Casual is required at noon, but I noticed most of the surrounding customers were dressed quite formally. ⏰ The restaurant serves dishes quite quickly, so you won't be left waiting for your food.
