Paris Montaigne Avenue French Restaurant Review π½οΈ
I had a date with friends at this well-known restaurant and wine bar located right across from the Dior flagship store on Montaigne Avenue. Perhaps because it's on a fashionable avenue, the guests were all dressed to impress. We walked in at 8 pm on a Sunday for dinner without a reservation and were seated directly. We had to wait until everyone arrived to be seated, and we were first guided to the second-floor bar to wait. Once everyone was there, we were seated almost immediately. The ground floor seats by the street and the second floor by the window are both charming, and it's quite nice to be able to look out onto Montaigne Avenue while dining. This time, we were fortunate enough to get a window seat πͺ The lighting inside is very dim, and since my French isn't fluent yet, it was most convenient to just take out review pictures to order ππ Order details: π Pre-meal fries πππππ π¦π Signature Lobster Pasta πππππ π₯© Beef Tartare πππππ π₯© Indian Curry Chicken πππππ The fries were lifeless, and eating them really made one angry. The lobster meat was quite large, the tomato sauce was rich and had a spicy kick, but the price was intimidating. The beef tartare has always been a dish I quite like; the seasoning was a bit light but I could add pepper myself, and the portion was generous. We just wanted to try some chicken, and it came in two thin slices that were a bit like lung slices, which was confusing. Interestingly, it came with rice and Indian curry sauce, which somewhat satisfied our Asian taste buds. Service attitude πππππ I can only say that the female waitstaff were all exquisitely beautiful, but there's no need for fake smiles. The male waiters at least had better control over their expressions, and they were quick to respond to requests. In conclusion, unless there's an unexpected reason, I probably won't visit again. At this price, I feel like I could eat somewhere with better food and not too shabby service! πPhone: +33 1 40 70 14 91 #ParisExploration #ParisRestaurant #ParisFrenchCuisine #Lavenue #DiorMontaigne #MontaigneAvenue
