Paris Parks | My Personal List of Favorites 🧾
Paris is home to many parks, each with its own unique charm. Like a true Parisian, visit the parks with a book, a pair of headphones, and spend a whole day basking in the sunshine. ▫️ Jardin du Luxembourg 📍 6th arrondissement of Paris ✨ Strolling, reading, picnicking, children's play, tennis One of the most popular parks in Paris, famous for its well-manicured gardens, fountains, statues, and vast avenues of plane trees. The Luxembourg Palace is located within the park and is now the seat of the French Senate. The park also features a children's play area and tennis courts. The day I visited, it was a weekend, and there was a temporary band performance in the park. The band was fully engaged on stage, and the audience was enjoying themselves immensely. ▫️ Jardins des Tuileries 📍 1st arrondissement of Paris ✨ Strolling, reading, picnicking, art exhibitions How can you visit Paris without stopping by the Tuileries Garden. The garden is adjacent to the Louvre and is known for its layout, fountains, ponds, and sculptures. The Tuileries is one of the most fashionable social venues in Paris and part of the UNESCO World Heritage Site. The small but beautiful Musée de l'Orangerie is also located within, featuring not only Monet's large-scale Water Lilies but also exciting exhibitions on the ground floor. ▫️ Promenade Plantée 📍 12th arrondissement of Paris ✨ Strolling, photography, plant appreciation The park is filled with a large number of cherry trees, maple trees, rose arbors, and lavender, offering a unique aerial perspective overlooking the cityscape. Admission is free, and there is also a greenhouse botanical garden that charges a separate fee (8 euros for adults), but it is definitely worth a visit. #EatAndStrollDiary #ParisGuide #ParisParksRecommendation #TuileriesGarden #LuxembourgGarden #VincennesForest #ParisBotanicalGarden #DailyPlog
