Paris Pompidou Art Center | Guide πŸŽ¨πŸ™οΈ

πŸ“– Background: The Pompidou Art Center, established in 1977 by then French President Georges Pompidou to revitalize French culture, is a must-visit spot on any Paris cultural journey. It houses one of Europe's most significant collections of modern and contemporary art, including works by Picasso, Chagall, Mondrian, Andy Warhol, Duchamp, and more. πŸ“ Location: Situated in the heart of Paris in the Marais district. Google Maps is incredibly convenient and user-friendly, and it's very close to the liveliest neighborhoods, such as Notre-Dame Cathedral. | Transportation: Subway: There are many ticket purchasing tutorials on social media. The subway offers one-day single, multiple, and bundle tickets, available for purchase at ticket machines, from ticket sellers, or by using Visa. Taxis: Taxis are not cheap. Look for black Mercedes taxis with a "taxi" sign on top and the driver wearing a shirt. A kilometer costs about 7 euros (if I had taken a taxi from the Paris Opera to the Pompidou, it would have been about 3.4 kilometers, or around 27 euros, equivalent to over 200 RMB), so I chose to walk. You can also opt for Uber or Bolt, which are much cheaper. Walking: A city walk in Paris is very pleasant. To save money and to see more of Paris's little streets, I chose to walk and unexpectedly passed by the Louvre, the Seine River, the Comedy Theater, and more. It took about 30 minutes to reach the Pompidou Art Center. 🎫 Ticket Purchase Google search for the Pompidou Art Center and buy tickets on the official website. Ctrip also offers many types of tickets; choose as needed. The Pompidou Art Center will close in two to three months for a five-year renovation, starting in 2026 and reopening in 2030. If you plan to visit, take action now! #Paris #ParisHotspots #Museums #WeekendGetaways
