Paris Restaurant with the Confidence to Operate All Year Round 🍽️
🏠A Parisian restaurant that opened in 1947, straightforwardly named "Au Pied de Cochon," which translates to "At the Pig's Foot." As the name suggests, the signature and specialty of this establishment are pig's feet. It's well known that labor costs in Europe are quite high, so there are really few restaurants that dare to operate all year round, let alone all day. 🏠Now, when they say all day, they actually mean until 5 am, but let me tell you, 5 am is quite a stretch! After all, a restaurant operation requires staff and with the exorbitant costs, the fact that this restaurant keeps its doors open indicates that business is really good! You should know that this restaurant doesn't just occupy one floor—it's an entire building, it seems like 4-5 floors. Pig's feet are available in single and double portions. I chose this signature dish made from Iberian black pig's feet (double portion), which are first charcoal grilled and then served with mushrooms and potatoes. The waiter will help you cut the pig's feet, the mushroom sauce is very delicious, and when paired with the pig's feet, it melts in your mouth and is very fragrant. I only realized while taking photos that the pig's skin is actually discarded 😂😂😂, which is such a pity, otherwise, I think it would be even better. More mushrooms would be nice; for women, it might feel a bit greasy, but it's still very tasty. 🏠The restaurant's specialty is, of course, pig's feet, but it's a very classic French restaurant with a variety of ingredients, including seafood. For tourists and locals alike, if you miss meal times (after 2:30 pm and 10 pm in France, it's hard to find good food), this is a good choice because it's reliable and reasonably priced. The location is easy to find, centrally located and very convenient, especially if you're coming from an exhibition. The restaurant maintains a retro French style, which is also great for photos, and many tourists come to visit because of its reputation. #Paris #HiddenGemRestaurant #PigsFeet #SignatureDish #ParisFood #ParisExploration
