Paris Seine River Cruise ✨ Golden Time Slot 16:45-17:45
On January 7th, the temperature in Paris dropped sharply, and it went below zero on the 8th. I'm now in the hotel watching the snowfall 🥹. On the 7th, my friends and I booked a cruise at the Mouche Pier to take a tour around the Seine River, which was indeed worth it 🍑39.9 for an hour of cruising (on the boat, not in the river 🤫). There are two piers for Seine River cruises: Bateaux Parisiens is said to be near the Eiffel Tower, but some friends on social media have mentioned that the boats are a bit worn out, so we chose the second option. Mouche Cruises Bateaux-Mouches, which is located under a certain bridge. There is a large pier with a name, and you can directly search for Mouche Cruises on Google Maps to get there. A cruise departs every 45 minutes, and there is a countdown for the next departure at the pier. There is also a waiting room with heating in winter and snacks for sale. 🚢 When it's time, the staff will organize the queue for boarding. The boat has two levels; the first floor is inside the cabin where you can look outside through the glass. I personally did not feel that the view was obstructed (remember to choose a window seat), and there is heating. It was so cold that I stayed on the first floor for a while until it got dark enough to see the Eiffel Tower clearly, then I went to the second floor. 🚢 The second floor has no cabin and is completely open-air. It should be very comfortable and beautiful on a sunny day in summer, but it was too cold yesterday!! I took some photos up there and then went back down to stay warm. However, the view of the Eiffel Tower from up there is truly beautiful!! There were many Korean tour groups, and it felt like 90% of the people in the cabin were Korean. During the cruise, there are explanations in multiple languages, and the boat moves slowly, allowing you to patiently take in the scenery. The reason for choosing the 16:45-17:45 time slot is that I checked the sunset time for that day was 17:10. Friends on social media say that the sunset and afterglow are particularly beautiful, and the Eiffel Tower shines like a diamond on the hour. However, it was cloudy yesterday, and at 17:00, the sky was still quite gray and not dark, so it wasn't very beautiful. I suggest choosing a sunny day for the cruise 🥺. On a cloudy day, the best time to see the Eiffel Tower is when it's completely dark, and the tower is fully lit up. #Paris #ParisTravel #ParisTourism #ParisLife #SeineRiver #SeineRiverCruise #Louvre #OrsayMuseum #EiffelTower #Travel
