Paris Suburb Senlis 🏰
A tranquil and charming small town, where one can stroll through the enchanting streets of Senlis, a place where everything is measured in centuries. 🏰 The 3rd-century Gallo-Roman walls, the 11th-century castle and gardens, the 13th-century monastery, the Gothic-style Notre-Dame built in the 12th century and rebuilt in the 16th century, and the old streets from the 16th century... Near the service center, I happened to encounter maintenance workers meticulously repairing the ground. The repaired surface is indistinguishable from its original state, and I am truly moved by the effort to preserve the original flavor with such care! 👷♂️🔨 The 'BISTROT DE LA PLACE' restaurant is located right across from the 'Cathédrale Notre-Dame de Senlis'. 🍽️☀️ The midday sun is just right, allowing you to enjoy lunch while admiring the church, and every half hour, you can hear the clear and ethereal chimes of the bells! 🔔 While dining, a lady at the next table, noticing me taking photos of the table and the church, kindly asked if I needed help taking a picture. Halfway through the meal, a gentleman at the next table, after seeing that the cars next to his had left, went to move his car (the church front is a parking lot) and opened the door, smiling and waving at me, saying "Photograph". I paused for a moment before realizing that he was clearing the way for me to take an unobstructed photo. It was really adorable! 🚗📸 #ParisSuburb #Senlis #Sanglis #Church #SunshineLunch #Diary #FrenchCenturiesOldSmallTown
